Getting to the ENL UTC

Travel and transport.

The Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire, is located on Carlton Street, in Scunthorpe town centre, providing us with excellent transport links. Whether you’re travelling by car, train or bus this page has all the information you need to get to the ENL UTC.

By car.

The ENL UTC has a dedicated car park onsite, located in front of the Visitors Reception. This can be accessed via Carlton Street, through our entrance which is clearly signposted. In the event that our car park is full, please use the pay and display facilities which are located next door to the UTC building.

There is a lay-by located near Student Reception that can be used as a designated drop off point.

By train.

Scunthorpe train station is located on Station Road, a 12 minute walk away from the ENL UTC building. Scunthorpe has connections to two main stations, Cleethorpes and Doncaster. The stops to and from these destinations are as follows:

  • Doncaster > Kirk Sandall > Hatfield & Stainforth > Thorne South > Crowle > Althorpe > Scunthorpe
  • Cleethorpes > Grimsby Town > Barnetby Town > Scunthorpe

By bus.

The Scunthorpe bus station, is located across from the ENL UTC building. The station links with a number of local bus providers that connects Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas. Please follow the below links for further information on:
