Following guidance on Tuesday 5th January from the DfE (Department for Education), the vocational exams scheduled for week commencing Monday 11th January can go ahead as scheduled. We know both students and staff have been working hard towards January exams and the results of these exams will allow us to predict more accurately any requested centre accessed grades in the summer. We will provide further details about summer examinations when the format is confirmed by the DfE.
All communications has been emailed home to parents/carers but if you have any further concerns or questions, please email our Assistant Principal and Head of Engineering Claire Reet.
COVID 19 lateral flow testing – NHS test and trace.
The ENL UTC is working to keep our school as safe as possible. Testing for those without coronavirus symptoms is beginning across the country using new, quicker COVID-19 tests known as ‘lateral flow tests’
Along with the other protective measures we are taking, these tests will help staff and students to remain in school safely. With up to one third of people who have Coronavirus experiencing no symptoms, these tests will help to stop the virus spread and help to keep our school safe.
