“I am delighted that as a Core Industry Partner, Care Plus Group can support the UTC to implement their Health, Social Care and Science curriculum and support young people to enable them to access a career in health and social care. Our Employability Services Team works closely with the UTC on employability initiatives and supporting skills gaps to ensure the students are given the opportunity to enter the workplace with the right skills. This is a fantastic development for young people and very much needed for the health and care sector.  Care Plus Group was able to donate items of unused equipment to enable the UTC to develop a simulated care suite and doctor’s surgery to support students learning in a practical environment. The items we donated were surplus to our requirements when we moved one of our services to a new base last year and we’re pleased they are being used to benefit students who will become the future health and social care workforce.”
